Performance Class – Is open for a broad spectrum of ages beginning at 5yrs and up.
Performance class will incorporate the three major components of the stage, Acting, Dancing and Singing. As well as the fundamentals of stage craft , putting together performance pieces and creating sets and costumes.

Children will be encouraged to participate in scripted activities both in a group and later down the track on their own, as well as learning group dances and basic singing.

The program therefore includes a number of segments, each of which focuses on a different area of learning. Some classes will be focused on the creative imaginative side of making a costume or designing a scene.

Structured class time includes: 1 hour class which is made up of - Warm-up games (theatre sport) Song of term - including learning the words and movement Acting out scripts Putting together small performance piece (2 performances per year) Cool down games

Fees – booked on a term basis at $12(includes GST) per class (most terms 10-11 weeks)
