Group Personal Training especially for young bodies
Aim: To improve cardiovascular fitness using (aerobic) exercises as well as strength building (anaerobic) exercises. In turn this will aid in the development of the child’s co-ordination, balance and also agility.
What are the benefits of Kardio Kids??
Physical fitness can only be improved by engaging in the appropriate exercises. Kardio Kids is a non-competitive class designed to teach children/adolescents the value of exercise for improving their health physically and mentally. Each child will be individually observed and assessed at varying stages of the class. Goals will be set as a result of this observation, giving each child their own challenges. Each child will be given the opportunity and encouragement to become physically fit, active and to stay motivated.
Structured class time includes:
1 30 minute class which is made up of -
2 Mobility and Warm-up exercises and stretching
3 Body Resistance (may use light weights)
4 Circuit training to incorporate aerobics exercise
5 Group or individual games
6 Cool down and stretching
NB – the trainer is available to discuss recommended activity levels for your child.
Fees – booked on a weekly basis at $10(includes GST) per class
